Vitaly Petrov Performs Well In Monaco Practice

MONTE-CARLO, MONACO - We took this photo of F1 driver Vitaly Petrov in the Paddock area immediately after the 2010 Monaco Grand Prix (Updated Photo From Sunday Grand Prix). Petrov hails from Russia and is in his first season of Formula 1 driving for the Renault F1 Team. In 2nd Practice Session for the Monaco Grand Prix, and with it being his first ever test of the Monaco Grand Prix circuit in an F1 car, Vitaly Petrov performed very well with an eleventh fastest lap time relative to Ferrari's Fernado Alonso who was the quickest for the afternoon.

A few facts about Petrov - he was born in Vyborg, Russia on September 8, 1984, and is 1.85 metres tall and weighs 79 kg. He proved his driving capability last year in the 2009 GP2 Race Series, where he was second overall in the Championship.
