MONTE-CARLO, MONACO - At the 2010 World Music Awards held at the Sporting Club in Monte-Carlo on May 18, 2010, theirEarth took this photo of fashion designer and founder of the Hilfiger brand, Tommy Hilfiger and his wife Dee Ocleppo on the red carpet prior to the award ceremony. Hilfiger presented the R&B rapper, singer-songwriter, Akon, with his award for Best Selling Artist From Around the World for the Africa region. Hilfiger and his wife Dee Ocleppo are recent parents of a boy Sebastian Thomas, who was born in August 2009 last year. Tommy Hilfiger founded the Tommy Hilfiger Corporation in 1984, building the brand into a global fashion house for men, women and children. He extended the brand into fragrances like Tommy and Tommy Girl, which were also extremely successful ventures for his company. The company later extended its design style into the home furnishings market and the brand continues to operate in all of these markets today as a multinational entity. |
