Kubica Finishes Third At 2010 Monaco Grand Prix
MONTE-CARLO, MONACO - We captured this photo of Robert Kubica yesterday at Saturday's 2010 Monaco Grand Prix Qualifying Session. Robert Kubica who drives car #11 for the Renault F1 Team performed extremely well at yesterday's qualifying with a second place starting grid position to put himself on the front row beside Mark Webber Red Bull Racing F1 car who took pole position with an incredibly quick lap time of 1m 13.826 around Monaco's 3.34 km street circuit.
Robert Kubica, who hails from Poland, said that he was pleased with his second place qualifying position on the grid considering the two Red Bull car's speed advantage. He said all things considered because he was having balance issues with his car's set-up, his Renault team did an excellent job supporting him to gain the high qualifying position.
At Sunday's Monaco Grand Prix, it ended up being a 1-2 finish for the Red Bull Racing Team, as Mark Webber who started from pole position went on to win the race. Webber was followed by his teammate Sebastian Vettel (Red Bull Racing) who took second place. Robert Kubica crossed the finish line in third just behind Vettel to give his Renault team a podium position in the Grand Prix of Monaco.
