HOLLYWOOD, CALIFORNIA - Penelope Cruz pulled off a great win at the 81st Academy Awards last Sunday by taking the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for her work in the film "Vicky Cristina Barcelona". Shining on the red carpet, Penelope was all smiles as she showed off her shape clinging dress to the hoards of international photographers present at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood, California. Penelope Cruz stars as the character Maria Elena, who is a divorced woman struggling with her ties to her Spanish artist ex-husband, with Cruz's character desiring to return back to the past and re-live a life lost with him.
