Actress Anne Hathaway is nominated in the Oscar category of Performance By An Actress In A Leading Role for her brilliant performance in "Rachel Getting Married" (Sony Pictures Classics). Penelope Cruz has received an Oscar nomination in the category of Performance By An Actress In A Supporting Role for the movie "Vicky Cristina Barcelona" (The Weinstein Company). Anne Hathaway is up against four other actresses for the Oscar. Angelina Jolie has also been nominated for "Changeling" (Universal Pictures) along with Melissa Leo for "Frozen River" (Sony Pictures Classics), Meryl Streep for "Doubt" (Miramax), and Kate Winslet in the "The Reader" (The Weinstein Company). |
