Over the last two weeks, Paris has been the place to see the latest in new cars and technological innovations from the world's automobile manufacturers. The auto show was called Paris Mondial De L'Automobile (Paris Auto Show) and it was celebrating 110 years of history since its first opening in 1898. There were 1,432,972 visitors who attended Paris Mondial De L'Automobile 2008, and this year more than 13,000 journalists from 92 countries arrived to document, photograph and video everything the show had on offer. The Show ran from October 4-19, with press days October 2-3, and it was organised exceptionally well.
During the press days, the cars were open for photography by journalists, and representatives from the manufacturers were available to answer detailed questions about their vehicles. Being Paris, one of the centres of the fashion world, there were beautiful models, and classical design style represented in the dresses, shoes, and accessories. Each vehicle manufacturer also should be congratulated on the effort and design style put into their vehicle displays and the quality of the design style that was presented.
