Mazda Displays Its Kiyora Concept Car In Geneva, Switzerland
GENEVA, SWITZERLAND - At the Geneva Motor Show in Switzerland earlier this month, Mazda displayed their Kiyora concept car. The Mazda Kiyora is a 3-door hatchback with a 2+2 seating configuration. The Kiyora's 1.3 litre DISI engine has a new direct injection spark ignition and it also incorporates stop-start technology which Mazda calls i-stop. Designed as an efficient sports car, the Mazda Kiyora has gull-wing vertical lifting doors, a Mazda next-generation 6-speed automatic sports transmission with manual shift capability. The front suspension is McPherson struts and the rear suspension is a rear torsion beam. The Mazda Kiyora has large 18" alloy sport rims with low profile 215/R45 low profile tires. The Kiyora sports car has compact efficient dimensions with an overall length of 3.77 m (12 ft 4.4 inches), a vehicle width of 1.685 m (5 ft 6.3 inches), and the overall height from the ground is 1.35 m (4 feet 5.1 inches). |
