Joe-Fly Electric Bicycle - Prima Power Bikes

The Joe-Fly is an electric bicycle made by Prima Power Bikes and rides on 20 inch wheels with a front fork and rear full suspension. For battery power, it is available with a 36 volt removable Ni-MH battery pack and has 250 watts of power that drives the front wheel. The power assist from the motor can propel the Joe-Fly to a maximum speed of 25 km/h (15.6 mph).

The range of the Ni-MH version of the Joe-Fly is 50 km (31.3 miles), and like most pedal-assist bicycles, it has three modes of power assist, ECO / NORMAL / BOOST which are controlled through the LED indicator handlebar dashboard.

For braking, Prima Power Bikes has designed in a 203 mm front disc brake and a rear roller hub brake, and regenerative braking to charge the battery during deceleration. On the road, the Joe-Fly rides on aluminium rims with 20" (20x2.125) tires front and rear. There is also a halogen front headlight that is integrated with the Joe-Fly's bodywork and the total weight of the bike (without the battery) is 32 kg (70.4 lbs).
