Musician James Blunt Parties With David Coulthard & Karen Minier
MONTE-CARLO, MONACO - Top musician James Blunt (right) was out last Sunday in Monte-Carlo to celebrate the end of the Monaco Grand Prix race with ex-Formula 1 driver and now BBC F1 expert television presenter David Coulthard and Coulthard's fiancée Karen Minier (centre). theirEarth photographed the three as they arrived at the 2009 Monaco Amber Lounge Nightclub held after the end of the Monaco Grand Prix. The Amber Lounge is the top venue VIP nightclub that follows the Grand Prix's around as they are held throughout the world.
James Blunt has already developed a huge listening audience since releasing his debut album "Back to Bedlum" in 2005. His top selling single, "Your Beautiful" rose to be number 1 on the UK Singles Chart and the album "Back to Bedlum" also rose to be number 1 on the UK Albums Chart. Blunt is an extremely talented song writer, and like Bernie Taupin's lyrics for Elton John's songs, you often wonder where James Blunt got the inspiration for the collection of words he arranges together in his music.
Blunt released his second album, "All The Lost Souls", in September 2007 in the UK and the United States. Blunt has a principal residence in Ibiza and enjoys the lifestyle there, which gave him some of the inspiration to write the tracks on the "All The Lost Souls" album. The song "1973" is James' song dedicated to Ibiza's nightclub 'Pacha', and it takes you back to the start of the Pacha nightclub when it opened in 1973.
Last year, theirEarth was at the World Music Awards in Monte-Carlo, and we photographed David Coulthard and his good friend Jenson Button (winner of Sunday's 2009 Monaco Grand Prix) at the Pre-Party the night prior to the 2008 World Music Awards. It was good to see David again on Sunday at Amber Lounge with his fiancée Karen, and he looked as though he was having a good time.
