India's First Hydrogen Vehicle - Tata Motors and ISRO

Tata Motors - India's Hydrogen Fuel Cell Vehicle

Tata Motors of India and the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) jointly announced that they will work to bring a hydrogen pilot vehicle to market for India in 2008. The announcement was made last Thursday (November 22, 2007) in Bangalore by the ISRO Chairman Madhavan Nair.

India has the capability to motivate its people to significantly move over to zero emission technologies like hydrogen vehicles, wind power and CSP solar thermal energy. India could also quickly become a key player in designing and implementing key earth restoration projects and benefiting financially from this strategy.
