Claudia Schiffer Arrives At Mercedes-Benz Fashionweek Berlin

Claudia Schiffer presented Karl Lagerfeld, Head Designer for Chanel, with a lifetime ELLE Fashion Star Platinum Award on July 19, 2008. She is seen arriving for the ELLE Awards during Mercedes-Benz Fashionweek Berlin, held last week in Berlin, Germany.

It was only fitting that Claudia was the one who gave the award to Karl Lagerfeld, because it was he who selected her to be the new face of Chanel twenty years ago, which launched her career. Schiffer has recently started modelling again for Chanel's 2009 Spring/Summer Ad Campaign.

Mercedes-Benz's first started sponsoring Fashion Weeks in Sydney and Melbourne, Australia in 1996. Their Fashion Weeks now run throughout the world on as annual basis in Berlin, Los Angeles, New York, Miami and Mexico City.
