Akon Performing at the 2010 World Music Awards

MONTE-CARLO, MONACO - The 2010 World Music Awards held in May of this year (May 18, 2010) at the Sporting Club in Monte-Carlo included the very talented R&B rapper, singer-songwriter and record producer Akon. Akon sang his house music hit "Sexy Bitch" at the Awards (see photo) along with the live supporting help of fellow record producer and top DJ David Guetta who worked together with Akon on the studio recording of the "Sexy Bitch" song.

Akon won a 2010 World Music Award based on most records sold for Best Selling Artist From Around the World for the Africa region. Later that evening along with David Guetta, the two played a single off Akon's soon to be released 2010 album "Stadium Music" at a nearby night club JimmyZ's.

The "Stadium Music" album will include the two singles "Party Animal" and "Nosy Neighbour", both produced by David Guetta. We had a chance to speak with Akon briefly after he partied with Guetta as he debuted his new single on the dance floor and he really is extremely genuine and very kind for such a talented personality.
