The 'Actor in a Leading Role' Oscar Nominees for the 82nd Academy Awards were all smiles as they had their photograph taken and they are (left to right and the film they starred in): Colin Firth in "A Single Man", Morgan Freeman in "Invictus", Jeff Bridges in "Crazy Heart", Jeremy Renner in "The Hurt Locker" and George Clooney in "Up in the Air".

The 82nd Academy Awards will take place on March 7, 2010 at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood, California, with the ABC Television Network broadcasting the event live to a worldwide audience. At the Oscar Luncheon this week, close to 120 nominees from motion picture professions such as acting, directing, mixing, editing, musical score, visual effects, and many other Oscar categories were in attendance. Each nominee was formally presented with an official nomination certificate from the Academy at the Luncheon.
