Monaco's 49th Monte-Carlo International Television Festival

The TV Festival will showcase both television series and television celebrities from around the world. On Thursday June 11th, the annual Golden Nymph Awards will take place with Golden Nymphs given to Actors, Actresses, Directors, and Producers in the categories of Television Films, Mini Series, Highest Ranked Worldwide TV Audience, Drama and Comedy TV Series, and International News Programs. Each year the Monte-Carlo Television Festival attracts many leading stars from some of the highest ranked U.S. and International Television Series to Monaco for this weeklong event. Last year the very popular Cristel Khalil from the television series "The Young and The Restless" was in attendance, and for the 2009 TV Festival representing "The Young and The Restless" will be Doug Davidson and Michelle Stafford. For 2009, the U.S. television celebrities scheduled to be at the 49th Monte-Carlo Television Festival are from the TV series (in no particular order) - "The Bold and The Beautiful" - Producer Bradley P. Bell, Ashley Jones, and Ronn Moss; "Days Of Our Lives" - Bryan Dattilo; "Law and Order" - Producer Dick Wolf, "The Young and The Restless" - Doug Davidson and Michelle Stafford; "90210" - Rob Estes; "CSI: NY" - Hill Harper; "CSI: Las Vegas" - Eric Szmanda; "CSI: Miami" - Emily Procter; "Desperate Housewives" - Kyle MacLachlan; "Ghost Whisperer" - Jennifer Love Hewitt; and from "Gossip Girl" - Jessica Szohr. The Monte-Carlo Television Festival also showcases World Premieres of both new television series, documentaries, and feature films. For 2009, the films "Enquetes Reservees" and "Plus Belle La Vie" will screen on Sunday June 7th, followed by the World Premiere Screening of documentary "Back Door Channels: The Price Of Peace", which promises to be exceptionally well received when it is released. On Tuesday June 9th, the first two episodes of the series "Saving Grace" will premiere, and then on Wednesday the premiere of this season's first two episodes of "True Blood" will be shown.
